When I felt nauseated, I would take sips of water which had lots of lemon juice in it to make it tart. Just sips, not guzzling. No to morning sickness tea also helps and it has lemon and lemon peel too!

Hi all!

I agree that ginger in all forms seems to work well. Sometimes though, only prescription medications work. I’m on a sack of different medications and the morphine makes me feel rank. The prescription antiemetics that seem to work best for me (and maybe you too) are:

Prochlorperazine (Buccal preparation) is good if you can’t keep anything down – they simply dissolve on your gum.

Ondansetron – works within 5-10 minutes.

Domperidone (not to be confused with Domperignon!!) – works similarly to Ondansetron.

Cyclizine – an old antiemetic with mixed results. Some people have reported that this medication makes them feel sick – ironic!

I hope this is helpful to somebody out there. 🙂

Nausea home remedy

No to morning sickness tea. This decaf and preservative-free herbal tea is great that was a great help during my pregnancy sickness. It contains lemon peel, lemon, chamomile etc.

pine nut oil. Amazing for nausea.

For nausea. Ginger Tea. 1/8 tsp Ground ginger, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tblsp hot water, stir well and sip. can be doubled. Small volume, very good for settling stomach

This sounds crazy, but i swear by it!! My aunt told me to drink a teaspoon of vinegar for upset stomach and nausea and i thought out sounded terrible-but she is absolutely right. Within ten minutes or less your nausea will completely subside. I wouldn’t recommend if you have heart burn accompanying your nausea though.

I tried the accupressure 2 inches up the forearm from the wrist and it worked!!!!!!

My no-fail nausea remedy is simply heat. I’ve found using a large rice/bean pack (cover majority if not all of stomach area) will alleviate the nausea enough to keep liquids and foods of lighter sustenance down. Hope this helps someone.

Marijuana helps with the flu. It relieves nausea, aches and pains, and allows you to eat.

Using an alcohol swab ‘pad’ and smelling that for a few minutes will work instantly!
