When I get a headache I put peppermint oil on my forehead I really recommend it it works!

In the recent years i’ve become an avid chilli fan and what i noticed is that i’d crave chilli when i’m experiencing a headache. I soon realised that a chilli or two will partially or completely get rid of my headache in only a few minutes. My saviour for when headache tablets don’t work on me. I usually eat whole pickled chilli’s and they work just great but i’m sure all types of chilli’s or chilli sauces with a bit of kick will work. It’s like magic!

I get really bad headaches from stress and allergies. Plus migraines at times as a sort of allergic reaction to something. But here is what works best for me.

Buy a scented oil diffuser/burner. One of the electric ones work best.

Put some peppermint and eucalyptus oil in the diffuser and let it go to work. I usually do mostly eucalyptus and a lil peppermint.

Also smear a bit of peppermint oil on your forehead, in the center near the chakra point.

Also drink a little bit of caffeine: tea, a soda or weak coffee. Most headaches are caused by constricted blood vessels in the brain. Caffeine helps to open them up.

Relax in a quiet and somewhat dark room. Read a book or something. Stay off the computer for a while, especially if the headache is stress related cuz we all know how stressed u can get reading all the drama on the internet.

I discovered Vicks Vapour Rub is brilliant for stopping headaches. As soon as you feel a headache starting or already have one, rub Vick on your forehead and down the side of your temples and you headache will disappear. If you have a bad headache you may need to do it a few times.

I have suffered all my life from headaches, almost everyday, varying in intensity from slight throbbing to killer migraines. I’ve tried a lot of medicine and remedies.
I’m now 4 weeks headache free !
I have a glass of warm lemon water first thing in the morning.
Then ‘oilpulling’ with coconut oil for 20 mins in shower.
I eat 1 tbl spoon of the same oil, and take a B vitamin pill and a fish oil pill.

I don’t know what part is the one that works, and I don’t really care…. It works!
It changed my life.
( oh , but side effects: wither theeth and less cellulite … Horrible…)

I found this remedy a few years ago and ever since i have sweared by it. Take some rose water and dab it on your temples. Then open a vottle of lavender oil and just take a few sniffs (really as many as you like) and then just lay down and relax.
If its a super migraine it might not be as affective but for a common headache it should do the trick. Good luck and blessed be everyone.

I am currently having pain with a headache but i actually learned that staying hydrated drinking hot stuff with caffine like hot chocolate or coffee helps but what really helps is when you use medicated chest rubs (vicks for example) and just smell the vapor it clears out your head a LOT

Don’t want to say.

At the risk of sounding gross, this works wonders. Go to the bathroom! With no more than the fan and maybe a nightlight, sit on the toilet and zone out. Press on one of the pressure points described before, or toy around with a magazine or a mind-numbing game (nothing stressful) and relax. DO NOT FORCE OR PUSH. That will make your headache worse and may cause other issues… Try this while waiting for your coffee or tea to cool. Good Luck!

Headache remedy:
First drink a glass of hot spiced tea. (I prefer black chai myself)
Next get a cold damp rag and lay it across your forehead and/or eyes.
After that lie down with the rag on your forehead and/or eyes in a dim or dark area. Make sure you are comfortable. Close your eyes, and in a short amount of time your headache will be better or gone completely!

Eating spinach or anything green will help. My headaches usually come from lack of sleep but, it helps if you drink hot tea and lay down with a hot damp rag on your head. Hope this helped!

I had suffered from headaches including migraines for over 10 years and basically used medication to manage them until my husband found this unique device on Amazon called the Headache Hammock that claimed it relieved headaches including migraines naturally. He bought it for me to try and I was really surprised after getting it that something so simple could work so well. The device basically lifts your head up while applying pressure to the muscles in your upper neck allowing the tension in your neck to relax, but the coolest part is that the device can be heated in the microwave or cooled in the freezer. I usually use the Headache Hammock warmed to relieve that neck tension that tends to cause my headaches, but if I feel a migraine coming on which have been much fewer since using the device, I put it in the freezer to cool it before using it and that will sometimes stop the migraine from coming on. Just my two cents but the Headache Hammock really works.

All you need to do is take a nice warm shower and listen to you favorite music. Your headache will slowly fade away.

1. take a tablespoon of vinegar, or get a sour pickle and eat it. never fails

headache may be quite nasty sometimes and possible reasons for it may be excessive intake of foods, which are hot in nature, constipation, less sleep, less intake of liquids, high blood pressure etc. here is a simple remedy . take lemonjuice[1 medium size], a glass of water [200-250 ml],sme pint of salt. after squuezing lemonjuice in empty glass, add pinch of salt and then start pouring water from a jug from a height of 0.75 meter into glass containing lemon juice and salt. bubble formation takes place. then drink this liquid in 7-8 parts in such a way that everytime u sip it you churn it in ur mouth 5-6 times and then take it down. it will remove ur headache within 15-20 minutes. it is beneficial in mouth sores also.

For small headaches, squeeze the pressure point between your index finger and thumb. It really helps!

my remedy for a headache…i take a wet ray and lay it in the freezer for a few minutes..and lay it over my forehead..

in night before going to bed apply suitable oil in your temple and sleep. morning also apply but don’t wipe it.

Whenever I have a headache , I use a few home remedies.

Remedy 1: drink Pepsi or coca cola. This helps if the headache is do to having a lack of caffeine( or take caffeine pills).
Remedy 2: lay down, relax…do this in a dim room with no sounds and it is best of you fall asleep. Putting a wet, warm cloth helps.
Remedy 3 : take painkillers, this is probably the best solution even if it isn’t necessarily a home remedy.

try and avoid bright lights and loud noises. lay down in a dim room and relax. tea helps, nothing to strong though, and if you put a damp cold cloth over your eyes, then that sometimes helps, too.

HEADACHE HOME REMEDY: Apply Lemongrass oil to your temples, base of neck and between the eyes. I actually just tried it and it works!

Depending on how severe the headache is will determine how well this works I suppose. Go try it and good luck 🙂
