ok ask yourself this question what does alcohol turn into once it hits your bloodstream? thats right sugar! your body is going through a sugar shock because its been several hours since your last drink, eather take 2 tbs of honey straight or 2tbs of sugar mixed in any drink that can be kept down and u will feel better in no time

Any sort of vitamin product that contains Thiamine seem to work for me, currently using those Bytox hangover patches and they work pretty well. Failing that any form of big greasy meal the following day seems to speed up the recovery process !

The only way to avoid a pounding head and queasiness the morning after is to drink in moderation, or to stay away from alcohol entirely. But it’s often easy to overindulge.

For anyone that has ever truly had a BAD hangover, you know that it can sometimes be hard to keep even water down, much less anything acidic like gatorade, tomato juice, oranges or a lot of these other recommendations. They’ll just stir up the bile, making me puke and even more dehydrated. You won’t feel better until you’re hydrated again so that’s why I drink PEPPERMINT TEA. It’s known to be good for upset stomachs already, so it’s naturally a great way to get hydrated when you’re queasy. Next to soak up that bile, nibble on saltines or goldfish crackers. If you think you can hold them down, peppermint smoothies Tums or an antacid like Zantac can help. And lastly, though not legal, smoking marijuana will KILL your hangover. It is by far the best thing… Think of it, it’s so good for nausea that certain states have made it legal medicinally. If it were legal I’d say skip the crackers and smoke a bowl while you sip your tea… take a nap and you’ll wake up totally refreshed with a huge appetite.

For hangovers….people are just being USA oriented with their brand names of meds. Here is one. Just take two raw eggs with a pinch of salt & pepper for taste. Eggs are universal 🙂

Before you go to bed, drink at least 16 oz of water, eat a piece of dry bread or toast, take your favorite hi-dose B vitamin, and 2000 mg. of Vitamin C. I use Emergen-C, its very effective and the effervesence is nice. One you are awake, take a hot shower first thing, and make Hangover Soup: mince 1 onion, 3 garlic cloves, put them in a pan with 2 cups chicken broth, and 1 bullion cube. Let simmer for 1/2 hour on low, drink the liquid. If you need an intestinal purge (which helps to detoxify) eat the onion and garlic. But the best method of all is to sleep through the bulk of the hangover and stay hydrated.

As a recent college graduate who frequented 7am shifts on saturday and sunday mornings, I learned very quickly how to battle a hangover. Obviously plenty of fluids will help, but no matter how tired I am, I do not drink coffee- it can dehydrate you even more. Instead, Pop a multi-vitamin either right before you go to sleep or right when you wake up in the morning. Follow it up with a significant amount of water and maybe some toast, and you’ll feel noticeably better in as little as an hour.

The normal remedy I see is Green Tea. However, not everyone has green tea. I had a hangover this morning, felt awful. I just drank some normal Rooibos tea,no sugar with a teaspoon of lemon juice. It relieved most of the nausea, and at least I didn’t have a headache though.

I am a university student and am no stranger to hangovers.
The answer is OIL PULLING. It can really make you gag first thing in the morning after a long night, and when you’re already queezy, but if you can manage to keep your stomach in check then within 20 minutes you’ll feel fine. Finish off with a few glasses of water and VOILA!
Seriously- almost every Saturday I do this and while my roommates are lying around complaining I am already better.

Take some Alka-Selzer to fend off the pain and queasiness. Then eat a banana and drink some Gatorade to replenish your nutrients. The most vital nutrient you lose when drinking is potassium, and bananas are chock-full of it. Oh yeah, and water (as if that needs saying).

If you have a bad hangover and can’t seem to shake it…

The thing that worked for me is drink some green tea and eat a can of spagetti-o’s…as crazy as it sounds it worked the best for me cause I didn’t want to eat anything and that was the only thing that I could manage to eat. As for the green tea, normally having a hangover makes you really thirsty and green tea has antioxidants in it so it really helps!

Hope you cure your hangover. :]

When u know dat u’ve had 2 much to drink mix the juice from 1/2 a lime & a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass with water & drink it all down, don’t sip, it bubbles in the glass but it definately settles ur stomach. Also drink as much water as u can, it helps.

After a night of drinking, usually tequila and beer, I drink some coffee w/sugar before going to sleep and usually I wake up without any hangover symptoms. Of course, I’ll need to sleep the usual 8 hrs. to feel completely symptomless … works for me.
